Lose The Weight Before Your Big Day

Professors, would you post your personal information like your wedding pictures on your class web page?

Why or why not? What PERSONAL things would you post and what PERSONAL things would you not post? What does it say about teachers that do?I personally would not, but I can see why someone might do that. Some of my younger male colleagues are very nervous about female students with crushes on them, and posting a wedding picture could signal clearly that you are happily married. I don't really like personal things on the class web page, but some people might put up things like sports (I know people who climb mountains, participate in triathlons, etc.), travel, and volunteer work or consulting activity. Some people will post a line about their spouses and kids, and about the community in which they live. I would be really turned off by anyone going into political beliefs or activities, or religious beliefs or activities unless it is a religious school.
