     When you are already logged in:
     In the top right corner, next to the log in/out link, there's a link labeled "Account Home." Click it, enter your password again, and it'll bring you to a page entitled "Your Membership."
     At the bottom of the "About you and your Event" section, you can change your wedding date. =)

   I have accidentally created two websites for my wedding under the free service for the Wedding Channel, but only meant to have one -- I can't see where to delete the unused one, but when I search for my name to review the site as if I were a guest, there are two sites that come up for our wedding (the one I want people to see and the one I accidentally created)? Can you advise -- I don't want to confuse the guests, and I the Wedding Channel site doesn't have a "contact us" option.

14. QUESTION:
    Why are many wedding sites locked?
    Like The Knot and The Wedding Channel, you have to register to view pictures and things. Why is that? Even if it is free why do you still have take the minutes to fill it all out? What if you just want to look?

    It's not like someone could troll, it's just looking at pictures and getting ideas. Why do you have to set up a name and everything? I'm always reluctant when sites make you sign up for free because I'd rather not have to delete useless emails from them and b/c so many sites give your emails to others.

    • ANSWER:
      So they can send you advertisements in your email. Theknot is not that bad, some of the stuff they send is actually useful, like they let you know when they are having a sale and stuff. They have a "newsletter" that is sometimes interesting. Also, if you sign up and create a to do list, they will send you reminder emails of what needs to be done.

    can i mention my wedding channel website in my invitations?
    maybe for directions and accomodations. I spent a lot of time creating a very detailed website and i listed the address on the bottom of my save the date magnets that i sent out to every guest on my list. i can tell by my photo album settings how many people have logged in and viewed my photos. only 7 people out of 100 magnets! either they viewed the site and never clicked on the photos or they didn't get it that the website on the bottom of the magnet is MY website. maybe they think it's a random website of the company that made the magnets (which i actually made myself). i really really want everyone to visit my website. i have no way of knowing what happened. i recently added a few lines on the website saying please sign my guest book so i know you were here, and check out our photo album. what to do?
    naturally my gift registries are on the website. this is why i'm thinking it may be poor etiquette to include it.

      Whenever I get a website with an invitation, it is always on a separate card, business card-sized. Put it in loose with the invitation. Add "Directions, accomodations, and more" and maybe more people will have a look.

    thanks for the website, I will definitely check it out. Our wedding is in May...just around the corner, and my mom and I have been planning the whole thing. I had my hair done at a salon here in town and I walked out looking like the poster child for ringlets. My hair is fairly low maintenance, so I don't usually have it professionally done. I am also unable to tell them that it's just not me. I may have to do it myself, which is probably going to be a disaster the day of, because I will already be nervous, anal, crazy, all those things!

      Its amazing to think how gypsies are the ones who often get the worst stereotypes, yet are seemingly some of the very few people who still have old fashioned morals.
      In fact, I look up to them for that.

19. QUESTION:
    Does anyone know where I can find a third ring for my engagement/wedding band set?
    I have a three stone 1 ct. engagement ring and a 1/4 ct. curved channel wedding band and would like to add a third band, but there are limited choices with a three stone ring that are different from the band I already have. Most enhancers, guards, etc are for solitaire. Any ideas?

      I would recommend a second curved diamond band to go on the over side, "hugging" your engagement ring. If you like the second one can be a little fancier of a different style. I have seen a few women who have done this and it has a nice effect.

    What channel is "Wedding Central" on with Comcast?
    I just ordered a new package which included "Wedding Central" For what I know this is a channel and I cant seem to find it. Does anyone know the channel number? Please Help!

      Wedding Central is a TV channel. It launched in August 18, 2009. It is carried on the digital tier by some cable system. It is owned by the same company that has AMC, IFC, Sundance Channel, WE TV.

    I have seen the 40% off coupons in the weekly add, but this is only good for one regular priced item. I would like a coupon for a percentage off the entire order!

      Michael's only have the 25% off entire purchase in the wedding magazines from February/March until May due to their in-store wedding promotions for April and May. Every other week, you will find 40% off one non-sale, non-clearance item in their sale ads. Around Thanksgiving, you will start seeing their coupons weekly and their Turkey Bucks will also be in the ads. The weekly coupons will continue through the end of the year. Rarely will you see any other promotional coupons for them. They specifically have the website set up so you cannot print any coupons from the site. They only show the sale items for that week's flyer and the ongoing special for the Framing Department. You need to have the flyer to get the coupon.

      www.indiebride.com -- the kvetch section is a message board, but there's a ton of threads with advice, you can ask pretty much anything, vent about things, non-wedding related discussions. And the women on the board are pretty nice and fun (sometimes there are meltdowns into cattiness in some threads, but these are fairly rare).

      Good for you! That sounds like it could be a fun, tangible and lucrative carreer!

      I have been a face painter for years, and working for yourself has BIG advantages. Especially when the overhead is low, like yours would be.

      I would look at all of the individual aspects of the wedding planning process, write it all down, and keep reading those magazines and watching the wedding channel.

      Keep a folder with pictures from magazines, cakes, dresses, flowers...learn all about the industry.

      You are only 13, so you don't need to rush. Just make sure that you stay focused because you already know what you love, and a lot of people take a long time to figure that out.

      I would suggest also learning about entrepreneurship, taking a few workshops for young small business owners if you can. Maybe even get a mentor if you happen to be so lucky.

    What should I be careful of when resizing wedding rings?
    I have two rings I plan on resizing. A diamond channel wedding band and a solitare diamond engagement ring. The rings would go up 1.5 sizes. Both are platinum. What kind of things should I talk with the jewler about or be weary of after resizing them?
    Well, I handed my ring over to the jewelers and now I have to wait, which is killing me. It should be done by Thursday. I just pray that it comes out just like how it was before but a few sizes up.

    • ANSWER:
      Ask if they plan on cutting/adding or stretching. To go up 1.5 sizes, stretching would more than likely weaken the bands and would FOR SURE loosen the stones in the channel set.

      For the the solitare, you've really nothing to worry about as far as durability even if they cut/add to the band.
      With channel sets, just discuss the possibilities/probabilities of how the resizing could effect the channel sets and whether or not it could result in looser settings.
      For most well equipped jewelers, they will be very cautious when sizing a channel set band...but it pays to make your jeweler aware that YOU are aware this is possible if not done properly.

      New content on a regular basis; give people a reason to come back.

      Include information for budget weddings (hey, not all of us have K to spend!), non-traditional weddings, and links to gov't information we should know (name changes, county records, etc.)

    The ring is 14k white gold. The diamonds in the channel setting are cloudy, and I wanted to know if I could have a jeweler take those diamonds out and replace with other princess cut diamonds.
    How difficult would it be to find princess cut diamonds small enough to fit into the channel setting?

      yes they can do that just go to a good jeweler an ask them to do that it will cost you obviously but they can an id keep the diamonds in it the cloudy ones cause you can have them put in other jewelry other rings or necklaces anything

      BBC One - It begins at 8:00am and is on until 1:40pm where it breifly stops for half an hour for the lunchtime news. From here, it will begin again at 2:10pm and run through until 4:00pm.

      There will be additional highlights of the wedding shown on BBC One at 8:30pm, after Eastenders that will run until 10pm.

      It will also be available in HD if you can already get that package.

      The other main broadcaster will be ITV but they will be running almost identically with a different selection of hosts and a few commerical breaks while the BBC will have none.

      All of the jewelry can be customized with length, colors, etc. She was really quick getting the jewelry to me and the jewelry itself was gorgeous...
