Winchester, Virginia (Vocus/PRWEB) January 21, 2011

Blue Ridge Bridal Shows (BRBS) is on a mission to change the image of a traditional Bridal Show with a Hi Tech Interactive Digital show held at The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (ADC) on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 12-4 pm. Before the doors even open, attendees are entering contests to win a honeymoon, getaways, and $1000 cash through facebook. Once they arrive at the bridal show, four theaters use digital screens to showcase the 2011 Wedding Trends. Even a Wii game will be in the Alpha Voyages Mens Cave where couples can earn points to win a Honeymoon from Alpha Voyages. Attendees and Exhibitors will also be texting from their phones the latest wedding news and trends in their industry. Just as the buzz word for 2011 is FUN, the shows goal is to create interaction between attendees and exhibitors which will result in building relationships which will convert to business for BRBS wedding professionals. This BRBS show is ideal for attracting brides from Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia as well as the metropolitan areas of Northern Virginia including Fairfax and Arlington and Washington DC.
Kate Middleton and Prince William have set the tone this year for the wedding industry. Combining vintage traditions with modern lifestyles, the digital screen presentations will center around What Kind of Bride Are You? This is not an arena consumer show. Four theaters with voice over videos will showcase wedding venues, accommodations, and wedding experts in the northern Blue Ridge Shenandoah Valley. The themes of each theater are:

  • Theater 1 will showcase Fashion and Wedding Trends in dresses * floral * venues helping brides to see if they lean more to romantic, traditional, contemporary, or modern styles. The presentation is coordinated by True Wedding Events. Venues include Hillbrook Inn, The Bavarian Inn, Historic Rosemont Manor, The George Washington Hotel, Shenandoah Valley Golf Club.
  • Theater 2 will showcase the accommodation choices in the Blue Ridge hosted by the Aikens Group Hotels. This presentation will showcase hotel, bed and breakfasts, country inns. This theater will also highlight non-traditional settings like Shenandoah Caverns and the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. What better more exciting way to show the young couples life history then on a large theater screen. Perhaps one of the greatest influence on the style of a wedding is the linens a bride chooses. Gala Cloths of Baltimore will provide a quick course in the latest table setting trends again highlighting the way to make your wedding all yours.
  • Theater 3 will be hosted by Mane Attractions Salon and Wellness Spa providing brides a interactive spa experience and showcasing the latest beauty trends in 2011 including the hottest trends in eye lashes and nail treatments. Having just returned from a national beauty trade show, the Mane Attraction staff will be well versed in the latest up dos, make up, and skincare beauty trends.

Finally, http://www.Go BlueRidgeTravel.com will make its debut at the Winter Bridal Marketplace. The epitome of the new world technology where brides and grooms can plan their wedding weekend and share their wedding itinerary through the internet to their guests anywhere in the world allowing them to open and make their own plans as well. The site will showcase romantic getaways and wedding destinations in the Blue Ridge Shenandoah Valley.

This hi tech show is open to the public and will be held at ADC located at 181 Kernstown Commons Boulevard in Winchester, VA 22602. Admission is $6.00 or Two for $10.00.
