I know this can range quite a bit, but how much should i plan in our budget for a dress (including veil, headband, shoes etc). I have no idea what a reasonable amount is, 0?

  Whatever you can AFFORD! 0 is reasonable, but you're going to have to do a little more work to find the gown of your dreams. I've worked in 3 bridal shops, and a mid-range gown costs about 0. There are definitely gowns out there for cheaper (I got a silk Dior floor sample for 0!), but you have to do a little work to track them down. Also, remember that a talented seamstress can really bring your dreams to fruition. If you find a 9 bargain dress that isn't your style, but you love the lines, she can take off those poofy 1990's sleeves and remove some of the gaudy beading. Alterations aren't free, but when you're getting a deal on the dress it can really be worth it.
  Veils usually run about 0. Most bridal shops discount your veil when you purchase the dress there. Pick out your veil while wearing your dress. It's very hard to visualize what your veil will look like with your dress when you're in jeans and a sweatshirt.
  Tiaras usually cost about 0 also. If you want to keep your costs down, consider wearing sparkly pins or barettes and fresh flowers in place of a tiara.

I'm going to a wedding this sat. I have a slim silver metal headband with medium sized crystals/stones on it. My jewelry is also the crystal kind, both earings and necklace. The necklace falls around right below my collarbone, and it has gems going across the whole thing. So it would be nice to be able to have my hair pulled back a bit, but I still want it down a little, and still with the headband.

  Hi there, not a fan of them myself, and i think it is because of the frilly lacey ones that do look like garter belts!! But I think plain ones can be very nice especially on kids with LOTS of hair. My 14 month old has heaps of hair and didn't loose any after she was born, just got longer and longer! Sounds like your little one is going to be the same. Just be careful as they can be a hazard for young babies and toddlers.

Hey everyone. I am going to a semi formal wedding next Saturday and I need to figure out a hairstyle. Usually I would just curl it and pin it back, but unfortunately my naturally brunette roots are starting to grow out from underneath blonde. Would this look stupid? Like a brunette headband??

My hair is long enough that it touches the bottom of my shoulder blades, with long layers and a side swept bang. Think Jennifer Aniston hair. Anyone got any tips??? Thanks!

I'm looking for wedding hairstyles.

I have short hair and it is always styled in a swing bob.

The picture is not of me, but color, cut and facial structure is very similar to mine. (I also wear glasses, if this makes a difference). I will not be wearing a veil, or a tiara, and headbands do not fit my head - they slide right off.
I will however entertain the idea of a clip, flowers or anything else.

My cut is just a little shorter, but I could always have it slightly longer. I DO NOT want to change my hairstyle, therefore I would like to find a wedding hairstyle that would work with this type of cut.

  that sounds good to me...for your makeup i would suggest you where very light eye shadow that almost blends in with your skin and black eyeliner...where a pink lipstick that stands out so it would compliment you light eye shadow...if you have short here leave it loose but if you have long hair pin it up elegantly with loose strands....
