Making floral preparations for a wedding event should be something striking and extraordinary. The florist should be able to know how to put in place quality as well as color. Remember that much of the floral arrangement will be used for features such as the taking of photographs.
There are lots of people who organize wedding events without considering the place of flowers. Even if flowers are considered, people hardly organize them for the taking of pictures. In most cases, the photographer will try to come up with one or two arrangements and this is usually done when he is about taking photographs. This is often something impractical which should not happen to you; or which should not even come about on a day like your wedding day.
First Things First
The first thing in your wedding organization should be making some provisions for flowers. Make sure you do this with the help of a florist. Avoid falling into the mess of leaving the work to be organized by the photographer. Make sure you provide for flowers that will not only reflect on the subject of your wedding, but also on the color of your outfit. What is a striking is to design a bouquet that will look alike to what will be used while walking down the aisle.
Make sure you provide for flowers that will also be used for taking wedding photos. You can make designs and shapes of all kinds. For example, you can use flowers to design arches. Remember that what you make arrangement for should be used to take a variety of photos.
Peculiarity of the Wedding Pictures
Your wedding pictures are what will make your wedding day a memorabilia. Therefore, you should endeavor to make necessary arrangements that are unique. This is when the role of the photographer will have to come in. If you are about to select a perfect photographer, remember to go through most of what he provides as samples. It may be through such samples that you will use to know how perfect your photographer is in taking wedding pictures. There are so many practical features that should be discussed about wedding pictures. For perfect photographing, make sure that you discuss most of these with the photographer. Also take note about making the photographer and the florist work as a team. Remember that taking perfect photos will revolve around the arrangement between what the florist and the photographer have to offer.
Some Point to Note about Floral Arrangements
If you are making floral arrangements, remember that you are not arranging for what is going to be appealing to you. You are arranging the venue for the guests and your arrangements should be striking to them. Keep in mind that every guest will want to connect the beautiful arrangements with the bride. However, you should not look much on this only to spoil the arrangements with lots of flowers. Flowers are simply to boost up the beauty of the wedding, and not to take away the beauty. There are flowers everywhere and much if it will be sold for as cheap as you will never imagine.

QUESTION:
Wedding pictures?
I'm taking the pictures at my brother's wedding in May. I'm not a professional, but do a lot of photogrphy. Does anyone have any tips? Also, do you know any websites that would help?-
ANSWER:
I'm assuming a pro is not an option, so you should do the following:-- Manage their expectations- make sure you stress to them that the photos might not come out very well and encourage them to hire a pro. ALso remind them if you are photographing, you won't be able to participate in any way. Kind of tough since you are related to the groom.
-- Whatever equipment you are using - make sure it will work in low light. If you are using an SLR or DSLR, a fast prime (e.g. 50mm 1.8) is worth having and doesn't cost that much. Many churches forbid flash during the ceremony, so you will have to either push your film or shoot at high ISO on a digital with a fast lens.
-- If you are using a camera other than an SLR/DSLR, make sure it will do all right in low light from a noise perspective. Many prosumer and point and shoot digicams are really noisy above ISO 400.
-- Practice with your flash and if you don't have a flash - get one. You might also look into a cheap flash bracket (I like flip frame for about )
-- Learn as much as you can about the ceremony before hand, check out the venue, go to the rehearsal, think about where you will be and when.
-- Browse the many wedding sites on the web - look at what sorts of pictures they have - think about what you will need to do to get those shots.

When did you take your professional wedding pictures? The only wedding i have been in they had done it before and im sure because it does take a little while and if it was done after the ceremony the guests would have to wait for the wedding party at the reception. But i want my wedding old fashion where my groom doesnt see me until i am walking down the aisle...so what did some of you do?-
ANSWER:
Before the wedding...go ahead and have all of pictures with you in them and everyone except hubby.....Leave the sanctuary and your hubby has all of his done with everyone except for you....

QUESTION:
How do I have wedding pictures printed off the proof album?
The photographer we hired for our daughter's wedding took months to get the wedding proof album to us. She has been absolutely impossible to get ahold of to order pictures. It has been over a year. All we have is the proof book. Is there anyway to have pictures printed off the proof book. Any suggestions would be appreciated.-
ANSWER:
I agree with the 2 first answers. Whatever you do, DON'T make prints from the proofs for several reasons. First of all, they're smaller for a reason. Try blowing them up and the quality is going to be terrible. Secondly, those pictures are copyrighted and regardless your story, the photographer can have you penalized for copyright infringement.

QUESTION:
What do you think of taking PROFESSIONAL WEDDING PICTURES but not having an actual wedding?
Alright, my friend just wants to take professional wedding pictures but not have a wedding. She says that its pointless of spending all that money. So she is taking the money for a honey moon and taking the rest to take Professional wedding pictures...but i told her isn't that kinda fake because you didnt have a wedding...but she says thats the only thing she wants is pictures in a wedding dress so she can hang it up on the wall. I think this is kinda weird...but do you know others that do this?-
ANSWER:
I think this is AWESOME!!!!I'm assuming you mean they are getting legally married, just not having an expensive ceremony and reception aka a wedding. (You do not need a wedding to get married everybody!)
Wedding ceremonies and receptions cost ALOT of money and can cause ALOT of family drama. If all you want is to be with your fiancé, look pretty, and have pictures to show your kids later down the road I think this is a perfect option. I might actually steal it. ha!
I've told my fiancé numerous times, I don't care where, when, or how we get married just as long as I have my dress.
I want to feel beautiful when I marry him. That doesn’t necessarily mean I want to feel beautiful in front of 100+ people just so I can have "non-fake" wedding memories (pictures). And saving the money for a honeymoon, just on them two, sounds perfect to me as well! Why spend the money on chairs, tables, and flowers, etc, when you can have an extra week in paradise! Whoo Hoo!

QUESTION:
How can I get my wedding pictures from a DVD?
Long story short:It has been 3 years since my wedding, my "photographer" has yet to give me my wedding pictures. He did however give me a DVD with a slide show of my wedding pictures. I want to print them, but they show up in a VOB file.
Does anyone know how I can get my pictures off of the DVD?
-
ANSWER:
VOB is a video program. Your photographer must have set it up as a video even though it's a series of photos. This should work... Run the video. Stop it at each picture you want. Hold the control button while you press Print Screen. Then, open up your Paint program, click on the rectangle, and paste it into the Paint document. Then save it as a JPEG.

QUESTION:
For nice wedding pictures in the Atlanta area, what destinations do brides choose?
I'm new to the Atlanta area, and don't really know the area that well. I'm looking into wedding pictures, and I want to choose a location that has beautiful landscapes, hopefully even beautiful architecture. Where do a lot of brides go to get their wedding pictures done in Atlanta? Besides the botanical gardens.-
ANSWER:
I would get recommendations from the photographer that you're using. By looking through portfolios, find sites that appeal to you and ask where the pictures were shot.I've seen brides photographed at the gazebo in Marietta Square, in various parks (including Leita Thompson in Marietta and Piedmont, in town) at Bulloch Hall in Roswell... and in front of various victorian homes.

QUESTION:
How do I politely ask wedding guests not to post pictures of my wedding on Facebook or Myspace?
Has anyone done this? Is it out of line to ask such a thing? I just don't feel comfortable with people I don't know being able to flip through my wedding pictures online.Wedding timeline troubles.need some opinions:?Ok, so our Wedding Ceremony starts at the Church at 4:30pm. The Reception (Held 25 mins away) Is starting at 6pm, but allowing guests to arrive at 5:45pm. I can only afford to have my photographer for 4 1/2 hrs. Which Scenario should I go with:1. 3:00pm: Photographer arrives-Gets pics of Bride getting ready, and gets pics with Bride and Family and Groom and family (keeping Bride and Groom seperate) out of the way early.4:30pm-Ceremony begins5pm: Have a receiving line at the church to greet guests ( holding them up so they don't arrive too early to reception)5:30- Take rest...-
ANSWER:
I don't think you can ask without coming off as a bit of a crazy control-freak. I completely understand your point of view and I share it, but I don't think too many are willing to see things from your side, photo sharing across social networks has just become so normal now.I've battled this problem myself, people take photos at events and then upload them online without my permission where anyone can see them and then they also tag me in them. About all I can do is detag myself but the photos are still out there for all to see. I have asked a few people very nicely to remove photos of me from their Facebook albums and I've yet to receive a reaction that doesn't include them thinking my sphincter is too tight. My niece, very affectionately I'm sure, called me a stuck-up idiot....lovely. And one relative even refused to remove photos of me....ugghhh. There is little respect for the expectation of online privacy.

QUESTION:
Where is a good place to find wedding pictures online?
For my wedding I am having a family friend take our pictures. She is experienced in photography but this is her first wedding. We will have a lot of cameras there but she asked me to get some sample pictures that I like or specific poses... Is there a site online that I can go and look at pictures?-
ANSWER:
http://photo.net/gallery/photocritique/filter?period=365&rank_by=sum&category=Wedding+and+Social&store_prefs_p=0Make sure you give her enough time after the ceremony to get to the park take the pictures. My last wedding, I was given 1 hour after the ceremony and from the start of the reception to take pictures. You don't want her to feel rushed if this is her first wedding.

QUESTION:
Where is the best place to get wedding pictures printed online?
My photographer gave me a cd with all the pictures he took at our wedding. I want to get some blown up and a few canvas prints. Where is the best site to get all of this in really good quality. Thanks!-
ANSWER:
I'll second Mpix for prints. Yes, there are other labs, but some cater to professionals only and you will not be able to use them. I've done hundreds of prints with Mpix over the past 5 years and I am very satisfied. I've done several canvas prints - mostly gallery wraps - and they are beautiful.http://www.mpix.com/PrintPricing.aspx
http://www.mpix.com/Mounting.aspxIf you get a print done on canvas, you still have to get it framed. By the time you are done, this will cost more than getting a gallery wrap in the first place, so I say why not??? They are nice.

QUESTION:
What equipment do I need to shoot wedding pictures?
I was asked to take pictures of a friend's wedding On June13. I have a Canon Rebel XT. I have taken several weddings in the past year. But this time I want to do it better. What type of equipment will I need? The wedding and reception are both outside. I have my batteries and CPF card. I just need advice on what equipment I should get for this outside wedding. Thanks!
Well, what lenses should I purchase? I am asking for help. Be nice. And which flash?-
ANSWER:
Hang on, surely if you "have taken several weddings in the past year." then you must surely know what equipment is required.Lenses, whatever is required to get the shots you want. That could be anything from fisheye through to 400mm f2.8's depending on what you want.
Flash, again could be anything from simple speedlights through to portable studio lights. The question really is a bit like asking "how long is a piece of string" as it depends on what type and style of shots you are planning (you are doing some pre-planning aren't you).
I know some photographers who carry only a couple of bodies with a medium zoom on both through to those who have a whole portable studio.

QUESTION:
Are ushers and guest book attendants included in wedding pictures?
I was at a wedding a couple of weeks ato (my fiance's cousin's wedding) and they included their ushers and guest book attendants in the majority of the pics with the bridal party. Is this usually the way it is?
I am getting married in 2 weeks and hadn't planned on having them in our pictures but I think my FMIL is planning on them being in the pictures.
Anyway, I just wanted to know what is usually done or what you all did or will do at your weddings.
Thanks!
-
ANSWER:
I've never seen them included like that before. It wouldn't hurt to have a picture with the guest book attendants and ushers just so you have it (I'm the type who would want that picture). But they're not part of the wedding party so there's no need for them to be in the formal pictures.

QUESTION:
What photo equipment do I need to take professional wedding pictures?
I own a Nikon D40X digital SLR camera and I will be my brother's wedding photographer for his wedding. I already have a zoom lens and a wide angle lens. The wedding is inside so I know I will need a better flash. I was looking at the SB-600 Nikon flash. What else do you think I will need in order to take professional quality pictures? Thank you for your input in advance.
I have done outside weddings before and the pictures came out wonderful. I do know how to take professional photos, but I have never did a wedding indoors before.-
ANSWER:
Here is a link,http://www.rokkorfiles.com/Wedding101-page1.html
I'm afraid you will need more than just a good camera and flash. The most important ingredient is the photographer. Even skilled and experienced amateurs have been know to flub their first wedding shoot. I am assuming your brother knows your experience level and has seen your work. Make sure his bride is fully in on the plan, too. Unless you have been shadowing a pro wedding photographer for several weddings and also have a very good set of skills of your own, it is highly unlikely that you will produce professional looking photos. For one thing, weddings move at a pretty rapid pace and there's not time for a lot of fiddling and trial and error. For many wedding happenings you have one shot and it has to be right. So taking a series and hoping for right exposure is out of the question.
I highly suggest you visit the venue at the same time of day as the wedding and do some test shots. Take a model with you, in fact, take two . Dress one person in white and one in black. Try some exposures with and without flash and see what you've got. You don't say what lenses you have. If the venue is dark, the kit lens will not be fast enough. During the ceremony there will most likely be no flash allowed. And you may be restricted on your movement as well. In low light, a tripod is essential for the ceremony. I set it up in the back or the balcony.
My usual plan is to shoot the processional from the front with a flash. When the bride (and escort/s) reach the front the photographer often moves to the back of the church or a balcony. Occasionally you can shoot from the front. If I have a second shooter I do the front and my assistant goes for the long shots. Usually no flash is allowed throughout the ceremony. Besides being distracting, many people, especially the clergy, believe flashing disturbs the sanctity of the vows and will not allow it. I use a tripod for the ceremony shots, and either a f/1.4 or f/1.8 prime or a f/2.8 zoom, depending on how far away I am. As the ceremony draws to a close I ease my way back toward the front for the kiss. Then flash again for the recessional.
By all means you will need a good flash. The SB600 will do a good job. Nikon has an excellent iTTL flash system. Unless you are comfortable with manual flash, let the system work for you. If you can bounce or use a bouncer of diffuser you will get much more pleasing light with less specular highlights and softer shadows. But beware of underexposure while using a diffuser. Usually you have to compensate the flash output, which means you will use more battery power. I highly suggest using lithium batteries in a SB600. They hold a full charge better, but you will have to keep in mind the recycle time. Some popular diffusers are the Gary Fong Lightsphere (I use the clear) the Demb diffuser, Stofen, and betterbouncecard, I have a new one called Lightscoop that I like very well.
Here is another link especially for using flash.
http://www.planetneil.com/tangents/flash-photography-techniques/
Practice a lot between now and the wedding. Get a backup camera of some sort, just in case. Have lots of fresh batteries and memory. If you are not completely comfortable shooting on manual, use the program mode and check the results using the histogram. Purists will hate the idea of the P mode in a wedding, but in truth P will get the amateur in the ballpark 80% of the time. Don't be afraid to use higher ISO. True, ISO 100 will get you much less noise, but I would rather have sharp images with some noise than clean but blurred. The D40 should be acceptable at ISO 800 if needed, of course 400 would be better. Try to get some good portraits outdoors of the B&G. Watch the highlights on the dress to avoid blowing them and having a featureless white blob of a bride. Look at some wedding sites for the "must-have" shots. Make a list and discuss them with the B&G. Have someone in charge of rounding up the people in the formals. When shooting the group formals, be the only one at the front. Command attention and get your shots first. Then let the guests snap. If you don't take control, you will have the wedding party looking in all different directions. When you are shooting, they look at you only. Always turn people's bodies at an angle to the lens. Don't shoot from below. Portraits made looking up someone's nostrils are never flattering. If you are on the short side, take a small step stool for portraits. You will be seriously amazed at the difference a foot in height can make. Pay attention to the details. Hold bouquets low in the group shots, most girls want to hold them too high. I don't like the guys to clasp their hands in front. Hands in pockets is fine. Don't chop off limbs at a joint. Get closeups and full length. In the full length shots, do not chop feet off. A little tilt goes a long way and tilt does not suit every image. In particular the ceremony and group portraits should be level.
Also remember that as the photographer, you will not be able to be the sister. It is a very important day for your brother and the family. But you, as the event photographer, will be shooting, planning to shoot, checking the shots, setting up shots, capturing emotions, getting details, etc etc etc. You will not have time to join the festivities or participate in the emotions of the day. You can't chat with cousins you haven't seen in years or visit with grandparents. You will be busy. You will probably have some difficulty with family members who don't get it that you are working. Be kind, but firm. You are responsible for the day's memories.
Be very sure about this. Bad feelings can happen when things go wrong. Even with the best of intentions on both sides, sometimes emotions get out of control, especially if the product isn't as good as hoped or envisioned. Sometimes the B&G don't realize how important good photography is until they are disappointed. So make sure everyone can handle it gracefully no matter what the outcome is. I don't say this to overly discourage you. After all, I know nothing about your skill. You may be one of the rare newbies who can deliver great wedding images. I hope so, and also that everything will go great. Best wishes and good luck!
*EDIT*
I meant to mention, the day is about the bride, baby! Your side of the family is groom. I'm sure you know them better and are more comfortable around folks you know well. Of course, you want to document him on his day as well. But the day is 90% about the bride. As a wedding photographer, rather than the family photographer, you will have to lean your coverage toward the bride. If you forget that, most likely you will never *forget*, or hear the end of it, probably. So go for the girls!

How about the Armory on Prospect? It's very very beautiful in there, but then it again you probably won't be able to get in there, or it would cost an outrages amount of money. So maybe you can just rent a fire hall. My Uncle and Aunt got married at the church and had the reception at the Hall.

QUESTION:
How can I tell people politely not to post my wedding pictures to Facebook?
before I've had a chance to look through them and put a leather album together? We are not having a photographer at our wedding and have asked people to take as many pictures as they like at our wedding, but some of them are Facebook addicts and very snap happy, and I want to be able to go through them all and pick out the best ones before they become public property.
-
ANSWER:
You can politely request it but the problem is that they are their pictures to do with as they see fit not yours. I know it's your wedding but photo's belong to the person taking the picture rather than the subject. If you really don't want it then you need to ask them not to take photo's and to hire a photographer. The way you phrase things you seem to think that these photo's are yours to do with as you will and that's simply not the case.

Okay, I know this is like, a lot, but I spent at least twenty-five minutes searching for all of these. So I really hope my effort won't be lost and that you would use at least one of these, or find them at least a bit useful.

QUESTION:
Need some tips for taking good wedding pictures?
My boyfriend will be taking the photos for his aunties wedding and (bless him) he's a little nervous about it and would love some tips from anyone.
He has a decent camera & has definitely got the eye for photography, but hasn't taken any "professional" pictures before and obviously wants to do a good job.
Thanks-
ANSWER:
wedding photos can be demanding at times. it is a good thing his first wedding is with family - they can be a little more accepting than people paying big $$ for wedding photos.a second camera body is almost a MUST for weddings. in the time it takes you to switch your lenses over, you could have missed 'the' shot and several following it.
You would ideally like to have two very fast lenses. (with apertures near 1.8 if possible) this will let you get crisp photos in what will probably be a dimly lit church.
Have an assistant, sometimes you need someone with you who can help you do small things like "hey, take this camera and change my memory card for me" so you can keep shooting.
Do not forget your battery charger, and make sure you have backup batteries. Also, if you dont have a whole lot of memory card space, make sure you have a computer there to offload your cards every now and then. keep it in the car, or ask for a small room for your stuff. its another perfect job for your assistant.
Most of all, be unobtrusive. Let the wedding flow while you watch and record it. People will connect best with the shots they didn't know were being taken or posed. Look for big laughs at tables for candids of the guests, get all the kids having fun together after they can sit no longer.
One last thing; look for a 'wedding photo checklist' online, print it and keep it with you at the wedding. check it off as you go, so you make sure there are no little photos (but the ones bride's love to have) missing.
Good Luck!

QUESTION:
How long is a photographer required (by law) to keep wedding pictures?
My photographer said I only have a month for friends to order pictures or he is getting rid of them. My wedding was less then 9 months ago. Since I cannot copy them isnt he required to keep them so can order more at a later date?-
ANSWER:
In most states there is no statute (law) to regulate this.Regardless it should be spelled out in your contract.
It's a shame that so many people get burned by photographers who want to leverage their position over you. I wish explicit contracts were required in every state.

QUESTION:
How to take good wedding pictures?
My friend asked me to take pics of her brothers wedding. I'm a high school student, and I love photography, but i have NO clue what to do. I want to take good pictures, but what do I take them of? and how? thanks for the help.
by No clue, i meant like what positions to take the pics at, what of, etc. Like i know how to use my camera and take good pics.-
ANSWER:
If the bride herself has not gotten in touch with you regarding the photography, you may be sure she has no intention of having a high school student as her wedding photographer. So I wouldn't plan on getting that gig just yet.
If they are having a professional photographer there, stay out of his/her way. Shoot the kinds of things he may miss. Concentrate on friends and family having a good time. The pro will get the must have formals and ceremony shots. You can get the stuff he will miss as he concentrates on the B&G.
If they really do want you to do the photography as a primary shooter, I would strongly suggest refusing the job, as you are not experienced enough and they may be disappointed with the results. It could cause problems in your friendship with the groom's sister as well. Also weddings are a lot of time and work for the photographer, plus the post processing required.
Here is a link for first time wedding shooters. You may find things of interest about what kinds of shots are commonly done and how the work flow is handled:

QUESTION:
What resolution should my wedding pictures be on the CD?
Just got the CDs from the wedding photographer and was looking over the files. They're not overly grainy, but I can see some grain in the darker pictures where the ISO is higher. I'm assuming since these files are "lossy" jpgs they are not the original raw images from the camera. So my basic concern is, am I getting printable quality images? I've printed on a 4x6 inch photo but it's too small to judge the quality. What should I expect to get from a "good" photographer on these CDs? Meaning: what resolution, DPI, and other info should be in the EXIF? Here is some sample EXIF info from one of the pics. Is this normal, or am I getting the brush-off?
Model - Canon EOS 20D
XResolution - 72
YResolution - 72
Software - ACD Systems Digital Imaging
ISOSpeedRatings - 1600
ExifImageWidth - 3504
ExifImageHeight - 2336
ShutterSpeedValue - 1/60 seconds
ApertureValue - F 4.00
ExposureBiasValue - 0.67
MeteringMode - Partial
Flash - Flash fired, compulsory flash mode
FocalLength - 33 mm-
ANSWER:
If you put that dramatic "wedding" in front of a title, ie., photographer, planner, caterer, stylist, etc..., people tend to charge a shitload, cuz they know they might actually get it.You might be getting a first timer, or someone with experience. It almost takes a IRS background check to find out how long they have actually been doing their thing.
I would figure for a newby photog. Most with experience, will have a sheet outlining their services. What you have are very low res "digital proofs" at 72 DPI. Enough to view on a monitor, but not enough to print. You will have to order prints from the guy, to get decent (hopefully) hard copys. Your photog should have made it clear that your CD was "proofs only."

QUESTION:
I have my wedding pictures in a CD now what do I do ?
I hired a photographer for my wedding, the pictures are ready, so he gave me a CD, I would like to print some pictures but some of them could use a little airbrush, I don't even know if it's possible to do this, I have a program to make some of them black and white, sepia, etc but I would like to know of a website where I candownload my pictures and make prints and if it's possible "fix them" at the same time, help please.-
ANSWER:
your photog should do all that editing for you. and he should give you printed proofs, not a CD. you have to make sure you own those pictures or you won't be able to print them out at your local drugstore or photo shop- if the photog still owns the images and you print them yourself, it's copyright infringement. that was probably part of your agreement with him in the first place but check your contract.

QUESTION:
Can I take my wedding flowers outside for the wedding pictures without killing them?
I'm getting married in a church and then going over to the reception hall to take the wedding pictures outside in February. I was wondering if there was anyway I could do that without killing my flowers immediately?-
ANSWER:
Covering your flowers with a bag while moving from one building to another will prevent them from getting frost nipped. If your bouquet is compact, a brown grocery bag will work fine. If it's large or has a lot of stuff hanging down then you'll have to resort to a couple dry cleaning bags.
If the weather is not freezing then you may not have to worry about it (don't forget about the wind, though). A floral cooler is often as cold as 38F.

QUESTION:
Is it legal for the photographer to show my wedding pictures to other of his clients?
Can the wedding photographer show my wedding pictures to other of his clients? Or can he make a sample album out of them? Do they have the right to keep all the photo files in his computer? Do I have the right to get all of them back from him? My order is for 30 photos, total picture taken is about 300. After I chose the 30 that i want, do i have the right to tell him to delete the rest of the 270?-
ANSWER:
Most professional photographers have you sign a contract when you engage them. Part of that contract gives them a release affording them artistic rights over the pictures.Your photographer is probably not breaking any law and you probably have no recourse in this case.

Can anyone recommend a good park in Oakland County, MI to take wedding pictures?
I'm looking for a scenic place to take pictures after my wedding ceremony next June. I'd prefer a place in Oakland County since that's where the wedding will take place. Ideally I'd like a place with a lake/pond/river and lots of trees. A smaller park would be ideal. I've checked out the Metro Parks and State parks and they seem too big. Any suggestions?-

Cranbrook Academy in Bloomfield hills. I'm sure they have a location fee, but for shear variety of locations, ... country pond, Japanese garden, English Country house, modern sculpture ... the list is endless. If you're looking for something free ... Quarton Lake near downtown Bham works.

QUESTION:
How come seeing someone else's wedding pictures drive you up the wall and make you want to get married?
That's what influenced me to find a wife at this very early age of 20. I couldn't find a girl here so I have to get my parents to ask my relatives in vietnam to find me a girl for me to marry. It always drive me up the wall when I see someone else's wedding pictures. I just can't help it and I feel like I need a wife at this age so I'm getting one. How come seeing someone else's wedding pictures makes you want to get married ????-
ANSWER:
I'm just a bit younger than you are, so I'm definitely not quite out looking for a husband yet, but seeing photos of others' weddings does really make me want to get married soon. I guess seeing two people who love each other so much as to be married makes me want someone I love that seriously, too. Also, the wedding is the glamourous bit, one of the more obviously alluring parts of marriage.

QUESTION:
what should I charge for wedding pictures?
I'm a new photographer and this couple came up to me and asked if I could take some pictures for their wedding reception. I usually take pictures of still life because that is all I have at my disposal, and I have never done anything to do with a wedding. I was wondering how much I should charge for this, because its not the actual wedding just the reception. I have also thinking that maybe I should just give the pictures to them as a wedding present because I know the couple personally, and taking the pictures would be a great addition to my portfolio. please give me your thoughts.-
ANSWER:
Well, like you said..if you know the couple personally, why not give it to them as their wedding present? Weddings are VERY expensive, and I'm sure they'd appreciate not having to worry about paying for pictures.Once you have the pictures to add to your portfolio, you can decide maybe what you need to work on (since this is your first wedding), and give out prices to other people based on how you did with their wedding, you know?
