     The upcoming April royal wedding of Prince William & Kate Middleton has anglophiles, royalty lovers, and just about everyone excited. Many people would like a souvenir, memento, or keepsake of the wedding. Where can

     The Royal Collection - William, Kate Approved

     The Royal Collection has released an official china plate, tankard (think of a fancy mug) and a pillbox to commemorate the royal wedding. These designs have been approved by Prince William and Kate Middleton. Proceeds go to the Royal Collection Trust, which preserves royal treasures.

     The plate sells for 40 pounds ( at the time of publication), the tankard 35 pounds (), and the pillbox 25 pounds (). Each item is made of English bone china and features an entwined "C" (for Catherine, as Kate now prefers) and "W." The coronet of Prince William, the wedding date, along with doves, hearts and ribbons figure in the design as well, with 22-carat gold accents.

     I'm assuming you mean favors for your guests? Try the knot.com. They have quite a long list of options. Also, M&Ms can customize their candies to have your names and the wedding date on them.

     I am giving away personalized shot glasses, during the ceremony they will hold the candy on all of the tables. Then as guests leave they can take the empty glasses with them. I am also giving away heart shaped cookie cutters with a personalized saying. My only suggestion is to have a choice of favors because there is always someone who doesn't like the favor given. No sense is wasting money buy half of one and half of another and let them choose. A favor table is a cute idea where guests can pick their own item. Some other examples are the two peas in a pod salt and pepper shakers. Kinda corny, but still cute.
     Are you having silk or real flowers? Allow the guests to take home the centerpieces to use at their home.

      I am making chocolate sea shells for our guest to take home! I bought the molds at Micheal's there around .99 (you can always use there 40% off coupon!

      Buy regular semi sweet or milk choclate chips, white choclate, butterscotch, peanut butter and melt.

      Take a small spoon full and drop in to candy molds mix and match flavors till candy mold is almost filled to top.

      Take a toothpick and make a few small swrill movements in candy.

      Put in the refrigator till hard! Plase in small bags tie with bow or box! Done! They last about 5 day in bags or boxes. If you like you can always put in a plastic tub till ready to places in favor containers. They will last 7-10 days longer!

    Where can I find Limoncello Bomboniere (Lemon Liqueur Wedding Souvenirs)?
    I need to find out where i can get about 100 little Limoncello bottles that we can use as bomboniere at my sisters wedding. We have been to normal liquer shops but cant find the type we want.

      You can always ask a liquor store to order what you want in for you. Most should be able and willing to do so.

      I work at a liquor store and we do this all the time. Even if we don't keep an item stocked because we don't sell it or something, if a customer wants it and is willing to pay for it we'll order it in.

      You also have to make sure that the limoncello comes in small bottles or is available in your area, or you may need to change your plans.

      the wedding dress is shown in the clothing store in the mall on the 10th, 20th, and 30th of each month.

      I got mine from a Cost Plus Store and lollipops from Lollies Galore. I had floating flower candles for favors, and flower lollipops in a flower pot with place cards. I have included some links to sites that I have visited. Depending on what you want, you could find favors in a candy store, bakery, department store or even a dollar store.

      The invitation is just that - an invitation. The program is the sequence of events on the day, with information about the participants, the readings, the music and anything else you want to include - on ours we had a quote and the menu, and information about the wines and cigars - some have a photograph of the couple, some the words of any hymns etc.

    Do you need a licence to sell souvenirs to the public?
    As the Royal Wedding is coming up on the 29th and I am a broke student, I was considering on investing in some Royal Wedding souvenirs to sell to the public on the day.
    The merchandise is high quality and is the same stuff being sold on the official Royal Wedding website, so I doubt there would be issues of counterfeits.

    But would I need a licence to sell?
    Also if you do need a licence, does anyone know how one can be acquired?

      A licence may not be needed, but the souvenirs must be from approved and legal source.
      However, your country or state may require you to register your business.

      Well it's up to you really. I have heard a lot of people say they don't want the favors (which is okay I guess) and then there are folks who love the favors.

      CDs are cheap and easy to make and if you have good taste in music your guests will love you

      Picture frames as another poster mentioned

      My brother and sister in law gave away a glass dish with a seed and some soil in it to plant to give them so many years of happiness and to help them take root in each other (I think that's what the paper said)

      I like chocolate so I might give away really cute boxes of white, dark and milk chocolate

    Planning a wedding ALL BY MYSELF! So far I've been extremely crafty at cutting costs and keeping my budget under budget. However I've come to a road block.       and if I can get as many made as I want, I think I will use those as decoration and favors.

      I just thought of this idea, and I think I like it!! do it! You could try to make something out of spoons/fork handles from a thrift store....like make napkin rings somehow, that the guest could keep, and you could even get it engraved with your names and date. That would be really unique and personal

      Burn songs that are songs of your life together & compile on the CD, 10 songs is OK (or if you want more than that its up to you). CD cost are not that expensive & if you have the pc with burner you can do it yourself. If your artistic enough you can also make the cover. If both of you are busy then you can ask help from a friend or relatives that are expert with this kind of thing. Best of wishes.

I got magnets and glued it to the back...i got alot of little fabric frames left....they were a hit cuz it was a pose that was not tradtional and kinda sexy for asian pple...but they loved it! Look at the clearance valentines stuff at the stores and see if you can give those away. Mine were chinese new years frames without any writing. I got them for like less than 50 cents on clearance.       Don't. This is the first place you can cut. Nothing says tacky like cheap junk from the dollar store. Most guests leave them because it's just another dust sucking piece of cr*p. Spend it on flowers, food or the band.

      Weddings harder but bridal shower since its usually only women you could do heart shaped cookie cutters and measuring spoons, kitchen items. Ive also seen wine stoppers and little mini photo albums. Photo Coasters ive seen too, I have never seen any of these at weddings or anything but i been looking for practical stuff.

      No one really WANTS wedding souvenirs or favours or whatever you call them! They either wind up thrown out or in the junk drawer, so don't bust your butt making them! Put the money and effort into something that might be appreciated instead.

      I've been to several weddings that had chocolates at each place setting. I ate them before the wedding was over! so that's not a good favor. I've also been to weddings where they made a mix CD of favorite songs that were played at the wedding, but to reproduce a lot of CD's I think you have to get permission on the songs. last weekend the favor at the wedding I went to was a pint glass with the date and the bride and groom's names on it, I thought that was awesome.

    Is this a good fund raising idea at a wedding?
    I am getting married in April and I love music. Everyone coming knows that I do. I was going to make like 75 compilation CDs of some really great cover songs that I love. I am going to make covers with me and my fiancee pictures on it. Kinda a souvenir of the wedding. I was going to put a box next to the CD's and have a sign on it saying "Honeymoon Fund". Is this a bad idea? I'm not going to sell them, but people can donate if they wish.

      Please ... forget selling things, forget wishing wells and dollar dances. If you cannot afford a honeymoon if you have a wedding please cancel the reception and get married in a way you can afford.

      All of the above ideas are just as tacky as selling tickets to your reception. Begging money at a wedding is classless in and considered very bad taste in most all cultures.

      Just don't embarrass yourselves in that way. If people want to buy you a toaster or help fund your honeymoon they know where their checkbook is with no begging on your part. Just don't.
