I am in the beginning stage of planning my wedding. Please share any ideas on centerpieces, decor, or invitations. ThanksGrey is not a definite 'no'. Look at what 90% of the men wore to the royal wedding - all the shades of grey, because it's less harsh than black, and because it was a daytime wedding. This combination is phenomenal, but the key to making it work is if you keep it towards a pale, soft dove grey. Grey is a fantastic neutral that's unexpected, and it goes exceptionally well with pale yellow. What you want to avoid is a dark charcoal gray and a bright canary yellow. You want a soft pale yellow that's not too saturated, and the same value in hue of grey (if that made any sense.) I highly recommend that you hit a paint store with all the colored squares, and put the greys next to the yellows, and see what works best.White and grey are your neutrals, and yellow is a warm color, so you might want to cool things off by adding a shade of blue or green that IS saturated as your pop of color. Or, you could go towards red by adding orange rather than green or blue, depending in what suits you. I vote for blues or greens because they're more forgiving than orange. When it comes to dresses for your girls, there's a shade of blue and/or green that works well next to every complexion/hair/eye color. Your choice is very sophisticated, and I think that if you keep the palate subtle, it will look spectacular. I'm sure you'll do just fine.:D Congrats
